Going Blue to Prevent All Forms of Bullying

Going Blue to Prevent All Forms of Bullying

STOMP Out Bullying™ is the leading national nonprofit dedicated to changing the culture for all students. We call on the nation to support our mission by raising awareness around world to develop a society focused on kindness, diversity and inclusivity.

On the first Monday of every October, STOMP Out Bullying goes Blue forWorld Day of Bullying Prevention™! Going Blue take place throughout the month of October to observe National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month.

“We have always been an organization dedicated to spreading kindness and preventing bullying and cyberbullying. However, this year, we were driven more than ever to help communities, youth, students and society realize that what we really need is to change the culture from one of cruelty to one of civility,” said Ross Ellis, CEO and Founder of STOMP Out Bullying™.

“This October, we mark 13 years as an organization. I never want to see another child in pain,” added Ms. Ellis.  “And I never want to hear the words, ‘I want to die.’”

Students, organizations, communities, and individuals go BLUE together with a massive worldwide statement against bullying with millions of people participating across the globe. This statement is to show that you should be met with kindness, and you should feel safe, no matter who you are, what you’re into, and what you look like.

In the words of Taylor Swift, “If they don’t like you for being yourself, be yourself even more.”

STOMP Out Bullying is thrilled to announce the following buildings across the U.S. and in Canada who will light blue in honor of World Day of Bullying Prevention and the kickoff of National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month.

We are so honored to have these buildings join us in our worldwide effort to STOMP Out Bullying! If you live near any of these, be sure to check out their brilliant displays of blue on the following dates.
