The Jets, STOMP Out Bullying and Municipal Credit Union hosted its third annual Anti-Bullying Awareness Day on October 1, 2017, at MetLife Stadium when the winning Jets took on the Jacksonville Jaguars.

This annual event is designed to tackle bullying by increasing awareness of all forms of bullying, promoting STOMP Out Bullying’s mission of reducing and preventing bullying and, most importantly, providing resources to those who need assistance.

Anti-Bullying Awareness Day included a $100,000 check presentation to STOMP Out Bullying from the Jets and Municipal Credit Union. On video boards throughout MetLife stadium the Jets new public service announcement was shown. In addition, the first two 2017 Jets Upstanders of the Week, Molly Shay from Pequannock Valley School and Bryant Pereire from Lafayette Estates School #25, served as honorary captains for the coin toss. Finally, the Jets hosted over 2,000 students, families and teachers from schools that participated in the Jets Tackle Bullying Symposium as well as the Jets Upstander of the Week and School Recognition programs.
